Freedom…!
Greetings all,
after my long, long incarceration at the behest of the Cork judiciary I am finally free.
And what developments in the world of the Exposition!
But firstmost I must give my undying gratitude to Prof Wendell
Pierce of Baltimore University for his intervention on my behalf. His
arguments before the magistrates were instrumental in proving my
innocence. Thankfully, through detailed scientific examination, he
could show conclusively that a gentleman of my age and stature could in
no way perform such an act with a Mallard.
Subsequently, the work of noted Dutch scientist Kees Moeliker has
suggested that the poor fowl’s assailant was, most likely, one of his
own kind. His research is discussed here.
So much for my merry woes! The worst of which is missing the first ever live performances by the Expositioneers.
So with new members joining, the new album all but complete and new developments on the ether-web, there is much to discuss.
But for now I must leave you with the promise of more information at the soonest possible time,
yours freely

Greetings all,
I have recently received a dispatch from the Exposition detailing the current state of affairs.
The recording of ‘Now Was The Future’ nears completion. The tune entitled ‘Mindobamba’ (see post, ‘Intriguing development⦑ for a discussion on the meaning or the title) has recently been posted for preview here: Prelistening. A thrilling piece of outlandish music in 5/4 time. I’ve heard a rumour that a Mr Lang is working on a film to accompany the piece.
The current make up of the Exposition consists of two wings:
The Eastern Section
Mr Lee
Mr Newman
Mr Blazdell
Mr Walker
The Western Section
Miss Wilsher
Mr Sweatman
Mrs Sweatman
The Ensemble is to be completed by the addition of the following instruments: Percussion and Bass Guitar
The search is on to find suitable candidates.
Many new rumours are emerging as the influence of the Exposition spreads. I will endeavour to keep the more fanciful ones at bay. However, with such amazing new developments occurring on an almost daily basis, nothing seems too unlikely in the world of The Modern Exposition.
Yours in keenest anticipation,
John George O’Dwyer
Greetings….
Welcome friends.
The gentlefolk of the Modern Exposition have kindly asked me to maintain an inernet log detailing their fine activities. As you will see I leapt at the opportunity. Their prescence upon the ethereal domains is currently being constructed at http://www.modernexposition.co.uk/.
As I sit here in County Cork their work on recording their second collection, ‘Now Was The Future’ continues apace. Prelistening can be experienced here: http://www.myspace.com/themodernexposition.
I have been trying vainly to contain my excitement of the prospect of the new album and when I heard their plans for live performances this year I became positively giddy.
For now, I will take my leave but be sure to revisit these pages for more tasty titbits and previews of the coming works.
Yours in anticipation,
John George O’Dwyer
